We cannot guarantee our sisters and brothers a funeral that fully complies with Islamic customs. We are not ready to house a full-time Imam. We don’t have the potential to expand our Islamic school as our community keeps growing. Our current space and parking are not suitable for major events such Eid. Because of these reasons, MIC has made it its visionary goal to build a community center that will house:
- Funeral Home
- Islamic School
- Imam Housing
- Parking space
- Sports and Social features.
A fundraising was held on Friday December 27th, 2019 to kick-start the project and resulted in $43,000.00 raised. Full scope and cost of the project will be published in the near future.
Whether you want to contribute with donations, services, goods, expertise OR voice your concerns, the MICCC committee is open and eager to hear from you:
